  • JOIN US AT Santa Catalina Street #204 at the Chocolate factory, just ONE BLOCK BEHIND the Plaza de Armas and look for the Yellow Vests ONLY. See Google Map of Free Tours by Foot Arequipa – Free Tour Downtown Arequipa.
  • You will have a chance to taste some chocolates and also learn the use of these nice fruit seeds native to the American Continent.
  • After this we will head to Plaza de Armas to see the Cathedral, the Water Fountain and The Jesuit Cloister of the Company of Jesus.
  • Get to visit also the “San Lazaro” Neighborhood with very narrow walkways dating back to Colonial Period.
  • Just like the San Lazaro neighborhood we do have “El Solar” even more colonial than the first one, both of them do have a white physical appearance since they are all built by using ashlar stones.
  • On the way we will see as well the First Jail that is basically a Castle looking building made at the colonial period and it is rated as the second oldest Jail in Peru after Lima city’s Jail.
  • At this tour we will take you to the San Camilo Market just near the Plaza de Armas. (optional as the tour guide’s choice)
  • Since we are on the Andes we have arranged this walking tour to see the Alpaca Zoo. (optional as the tour guide’s choice)
  • We will finish this tour by having some Pisco Sours.
