Because many tourists stay in Miraflores, we help them to get to Lima Center by taking the busy local bus since this is the Cheapest & Fastest way to get to the Old Town where the free tour of Lima will start. | Please note we do not tour in Miraflores in this departure!

Free Tour Itinerary Lima, leaving from Miraflores

The Itinerary can always change because of strikes, festivities, or holidays!

  1. Are you staying in Miraflores district and you don´t know how to get to Lima center by public transportation? Alternatively, you don´t know the fastest way to get to Lima center? Then you can get picked up in Miraflores by joining us at Calle Schell N° 178 outside Oechsle Mall at 10 am sharp. Look for our tour guide who will be carrying a sign with the Inkan Milky Way Lima logo. You can use Google Maps to find the meeting place!
  2. We will get on the local bus, heading north; we get off at “Jirón de la Union Metropolitano Bus station” near La Merced Church in Lima Center!
  3. By 10:50 am approx., we will arrive at the bus station and then make our way to La Merced Church. In front of this church, we will wait for some other attendees to join us there (Note: This is our 2nd meeting place.)
  4. By approximately 11:05 am, we will begin the Lima City Center free walking tour!
  5. We will visit the Plaza Mayor of Lima & Presidential Palace (outdoors) | We may even see the Change of Guard!
  6. We also will see the Santo Domingo Church (indoor explanation) and the Rimac River as well!
  7. Another place we will stop is at the House of Peruvian Literature & San Francisco Church (outdoor explanation)
  8. Remember this is free with only a tip at the end, so don’t expect any bells and whistles!
  9. We will finish our walking tour near the Plaza Mayor of Lima; just a one minute walk away! We will not take you inside bars for commissions!
  10. You can count on us to help tourists who want to get back to Miraflores by using the Metropolitano Bus system. Please ask your guide for assistance.
